IGC East Re-Cap

The IPN booth, all set up and ready to greet customers!

Last week, the IPN sales team was at the IGC East trade show.  We saw a few of our wonderful clients and met some new contacts.  If you didn't make it, you missed a nice event.  Albeit the show was small, it is a new trade show on the east coast for retail vendors.  This is a spin off to the very popular IGC show in Chicago.  Hopefully in the coming years, this show will grow and become more popular among retail garden centers.

To kick off day one of the trade show, Martha Stewart was a guest speaker.  She had lots of wonderful ideas for plantings and marketing a retail garden center.  Shocking, I know.  She was a delight to see in person, a great presence and so well spoken.  She spoke about her blog, which has lots of great for spectacular landscapes, check it out:  http://www.themarthablog.com/
