IPN Out and About

IPN Booth at the VNLA Field Day

IPN owner Fletch Flemer, and 2 members of the IPN sales team, Brent Thomas and Lorraine Klepacz, attended the VNLA field day yesterday.  The field day was held at Shade Tree Farm in Upperville, VA.  It was great to see our customers and meet other professionals in the industry.  There were educational speeches, other vendors, tours of the nursery, and a spade demonstration.  This event is held every year at a different locations throughout Virginia.  If you have not attended, we highly encourage you to.  Its a great way to keep in touch with the pulse of the industry.  To become a member of VNLA, go to there website to see how you can become involved!

IGC East Re-Cap

The IPN booth, all set up and ready to greet customers!

Last week, the IPN sales team was at the IGC East trade show.  We saw a few of our wonderful clients and met some new contacts.  If you didn't make it, you missed a nice event.  Albeit the show was small, it is a new trade show on the east coast for retail vendors.  This is a spin off to the very popular IGC show in Chicago.  Hopefully in the coming years, this show will grow and become more popular among retail garden centers.

To kick off day one of the trade show, Martha Stewart was a guest speaker.  She had lots of wonderful ideas for plantings and marketing a retail garden center.  Shocking, I know.  She was a delight to see in person, a great presence and so well spoken.  She spoke about her blog, which has lots of great for spectacular landscapes, check it out:

IPN wants to hear from our customers..........will you be attending this trade show next year?  Our sales team is always looking for new ways to connect with our customers.  Let us know how we can help you grow your landscaping and retail business!
